Noski Noski House
A single family wooden house in Katowice. Both house and the storage for Noski Noski toy store. The challenge consisted in designing Noski Noski enterprises facilities at the low level, and a housing upstairs.
The house have a straightforward layout with only a small circulation area and simply detailing. The challenge was to design a family 2+2 house on 70 msq. Construction was design to allow future amendments with possibility to divide kids room into two separate and converting the ground floor storage to a flat for rent.
The construction of the building is made of timber within meticulous planning as a means of ensuring economical design. The timber structure is clad externally with horizontal wood strips. Internally restrained finish- OSB walls and grey polished concrete floors- plus the simple furnishing and large areas of glazing mean that the surounded trees play a central role in the interior. Exterior is framed in different sizes square windows.
